Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 02, 2026
This policy explains what Lawgic Minds collects when you use our website, our contract review service or our apps, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are and what this policy covers
Lawgic Minds (“we”, “us” and “our”) is based in India; our contact details are at the end. We decide why and how the personal data described here is processed, and we are responsible for it.
This policy covers:
- our website, lawgicminds.com, including the AI contract review service on it (“Contract Review”); and
- our two apps, Lawgic Minds: Indian Law and Lawgic Minds: US Business Law (“the apps”).
Where a section applies to only one of these, it says so.
Website and Contract Review
What we collect and why
What we collect | Why |
|---|---|
Your message. The name, email address and message you send through our contact form or by email. | To reply to you. |
Your Contract Review order. Your name and email address (where your report is sent), your answers to the questions about your agreement, and anything you write under “Specific Concerns”. | To prepare and deliver your report, and to support you. |
Your contract. The PDF or Word file you upload. | Only to produce your review. |
Payment confirmation. Razorpay tells us that you paid: the transaction reference, the amount, the status, and the contact details you gave at checkout. We do not receive or store your card, bank or UPI details; Razorpay handles them. | To confirm your order, issue invoices and keep our accounts. |
Website usage. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and actions you take, where you came from (for example, an ad or a link), your approximate location from your IP address, and cookie identifiers. | To keep the website secure and understand how it is used and advertising cookies, to measure and improve our advertising. We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel for this. |
Your contract
To produce your report, we send your uploaded contract to AI service providers who process it on our behalf and only for that purpose. We delete your uploaded contract from our systems within 24 to 48 hours. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing.
A contract can contain personal information about you or other people, such as names, salaries or addresses. Please upload only documents you are entitled to share.
Our apps
This section applies to Lawgic Minds: Indian Law and Lawgic Minds: US Business Law, which work the same way. We use this data only to run the app: to sign you in, show you the right content, count your daily allowance, keep your streak and goals, send the reminder you asked for, enforce the two-device limit, answer your error reports and keep the plan you paid for or redeemed. Only while you allow it, we also use it to see which parts of the app are used and to fix what fails.
Your account. You sign in with Google; it is the only way in. Google passes us your name, your email address and an identifier for your Google account. We never see your Google password. We also give your account an internal account number of our own.
What you study. Which sections you have opened, which questions you were shown and how you answered (correct, wrong or skipped); your daily target, reminder time, saved items and study goals; and your phone’s time zone, so that your day ends at your own midnight.
Your devices. An account works on two devices at a time. To enforce this we store an identifier for each installation, the device name your phone reports, and its operating system.
Error reports. What you write when you flag a mistake, with the section or question it refers to.
Subscription. Which plan you are on and when it ends or renews, and any coupon code you redeem and when. The app store processes your payment; we never receive card or bank details.
Usage data and crash reports. The Share anonymous usage data switch in Profile is on unless you turn it off. While it is on, a product-analytics provider receives records of which parts of the app are used (for example, that a quiz was completed) and reports of crashes or errors. These contain no name, no email address and nothing you have read or answered. They do contain your internal account number and the standard details every app receives from the phone: app version, operating system and version, device model, and language and time zone. Because the account number is always the same, this data is pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous. Turning the switch off stops all of it, and nothing you are entitled to depends on the switch.
Reminders. The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your own phone. Nothing is sent from our servers.
What the apps do not do. They do not collect your location, contacts, photos or calendar. They show no ads, use no advertising identifiers, do not track you across other apps or websites, and do not build profiles of you for anyone.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data, and the apps share none for advertising. A small number of providers process limited data on our behalf, each only for the purpose we engage it for:
- Website and Contract Review: Razorpay (payments); AI service providers (processing your contract, as described above); our website hosting, email and form providers; and Google (Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA on our forms, and the fonts the website loads).
- Apps: Google (sign-in); our hosting and database provider; a product-analytics provider (only while the usage-data switch is on); a subscription-management provider, which receives the app store’s purchase record with your internal account number; and the app store through which you subscribe.
Meta. Advertising cookies in the Meta Pixel sends Meta information about your visit, as described under Cookies and tracking below. Meta also handles it under its own privacy policy.
Beyond that, we disclose data only where the law requires. Our providers may store or process data in countries other than yours, including outside India.
Cookies and tracking
The website uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary ones are always on. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (the Meta Pixel, which we use to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to reach people who have visited the website). Meta then receives information about your visit, such as the pages you view and actions you take, with your cookie identifiers. We do not send your contract, your answers to our questions or your payment details to Google or Meta. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies and explains how to change your choice.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded contracts: deleted from our systems within 24 to 48 hours.
- Contract Review orders and messages: for as long as we need them to deliver the service and answer questions about it, then deleted or anonymised.
- Payment and invoice records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- App accounts: for as long as your account exists. When you delete it, everything goes except the two items described below.
Deleting your account and data
Apps. Open Profile in the app, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. You will be shown what is about to go and asked to confirm twice. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. If you have lost access to the app, write to info@lawgicminds.com from the email address you signed in with and we will do it for you.
We delete your profile, progress, devices, saved items, goals, attempt history, error reports, subscription and coupon records, and your login. Two things remain:
- A one-way hash of your email address and the date of deletion. It cannot be turned back into your email address. It exists only to stop an account being deleted and recreated to reset the daily allowance, and it is erased after 30 days.
- A per-device usage count: an installation identifier, a date and two numbers, with no name, email address or account number. It is erased two days after the day it counts.
Cancelling a subscription is separate. Do it through the app store you subscribed with.
Website. To have your Contract Review order details or messages deleted, write to info@lawgicminds.com. We will do so, except for payment records we must keep by law.
Keeping data secure
We store data on secured servers and restrict access to it. In the apps, access is restricted at the database level, so each account can read only its own records and no user can read back error reports. No system is completely secure. If personal data we hold is lost or exposed, we will notify the relevant data protection authority and every affected person, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with; to correct or complete it; to erase it; and to withdraw any consent you have given (in the apps, for usage data, use the switch in Profile). You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act for yourself. Write to info@lawgicminds.com. It costs nothing.
Grievances and complaints
Grievance Officer: Abhimanyu, Lawgic Minds, info@lawgicminds.com. Please mark your message for their attention. We will acknowledge it and respond within 30 days.
If you are still not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India where the law allows, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Our website and apps are for adults. They are not for anyone under 18, or under the age of majority where they live if that is higher. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone below that age. If you believe a child has given us data or created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Governing law and updates
This policy is governed by the laws of India. We may update it from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. If we make a material change, we will say so on this page or in the app and, where the law requires, tell you directly.
